The room was clean, but had an overpowering odor! It smelled like burnt maple syrup/old coffee and it was headache inducing. The smell did not dissipate at all, still smelled it strong the next morning. We had extra pillows delivered to the room that evening and the front desk clerk smelled it too and said she would “leave a note about it”. There are no bulk ice machines available. Upon inquiry, we were told the ice maker was “in our room”. Okay, all the fridges are equipped with ice makers... but they are kept off! By the time you turn it on and wait for ice, you’re checking out the next morning. We had to run to the local mart for ice. The pool area smelled so strong of chlorine our asthmatic child had an episode just from being in the pool house and we couldn’t even go in the water, just went back to our room.

Love this hotel!

This place is great, we decided this is the only way to travel with her 10 year old son, it's wonderful to have the one bedroom and the full kitchenette, we actually just booked a trip over Presidents Day weekend in a different town but the same hotel chain! Had a great time in the pool and the complimentary breakfast was very nice.

Hospitality is the best!

Pros: Free breakfast, Close restaurants, Free Internet, Quiet
The bed was so comfortable, only wish I had more time to stay.

Robbed!

We had a good experience until we realized that after the room was cleaned when we went for the complimentary breakfast, $ was stolen from my husbands wallet that was in my purse in the corner of our room. We had a block of 60 rooms for a wedding so we knew most of the people staying in the hotel....I know we should have not left it in our room, however the day before when some of the people tried to check in their rooms at 3pm check in, they weren't cleaned and didn't get in their rooms until 4:30. We never expected the maid that couldn't get the other rooms cleaned by 4:30 the day before to be done with our room by 8:30am the next day. We reported it to the front desk and the general managers response was sorry, all you can do if file a police report, but that is our word against hers, and we probably won't get anywhere. Needless to say the room that was suppose to cost us $ for 2 nights - cost us $ and it was not worth that! Again, I know it was our responsibility, however I think the hotel should have questioned this person, offered a discount or another free night. Not good customer service, I work to hard for my money to afford to stay here again.
