Clean, quiet, comfortable, and economical room, on lovely wooded property. Welcoming and efficient staff, to human guests and pets. Breakfast is abundant, and there is large refrigerator and microwave in room. I also appreciate the history of this property, having grown up in Hazleton.

I had a broken shower I couldn’t wash myself I called the hotel they wouldn’t refund me and had nobody to fix the shower they wouldn’t offer a partial refund and said there’s nothing anybody can do for you.

The air conditioner was falling apart the bathroom had no soap in dispenser thought that would be fixed since another customer said the same thing also ceiling tile hanging down the tub needed to be ceiled or painted

When we arrived the sheets on both beds were dirty. When I called the front desk I was told the the cleaning staff was through for the day and they would take care of it first thing tomorrow morning. Slept on top of the blankets. The next day we got back to the room that evening, nothing was done in the room except the wet towels from the floor were folded and put back on the shelf. I went to the front desk and was given new sheets for the bad which I had to make myself. Do yourself a favor and stay away from Red Roof.

I thought the name Red Roof Inn carried a name thought was friendly, inviting and welcoming. While the daughter was pleasant when I checked in, the staff acted like I was bothered him. The attention to detail was lacking (ex. There was a light out at the front desk and I pointed it out half joking and he said oh well guess still stand over there anyways.). When I got to my room, the back of the door was dirty. There is a gap underneath the door and the sink didn’t work. The towels were not neat and the bathtub was dirty and on top of that the TV wasn’t working at all. I responded to the text and they said thank you for your review. Please call the front desk And the phones weren’t working. The parking lot area was not tidy and part of the sign was broken. I do not recommend staying there.

I read the reviews; I looked at the photos and I thought I was reserving a room at a chain of a reputable hotel. When I arrived, I could immediately see this was NOT a well-maintained establishment. I asked to see the room before paying. When I found the room, the door mat was worn, filthy and had not been changed in years. The room itself smelled of urine. It was dark, only a few lamps, there was no television in either the sitting room or bedroom. It was a suite, so there was a small kitchen, dining and living room. It was tidy but it was so dark, I could not even tell what color the floors were. It was awful. No disrespect to the homeless, but it looked like a shelter. I immediately left, returned the door key and advised I would not be staying. This did not appear to be a hotel. It appeared to be a homeless shelter.

This Red Roof Inn in Hazleton, PA was on the rundown side. We checked in but were unable to stay as the room we were assigned could not be opened with the key card. Card was re-keyed and still would not work. Master key didn't work either. Asked for another room, only one available had a broken and completely missing window. We declined and went elsewhere. Management seemed indifferent to our request for a refund. Very disappointed in our experience with this Red Roof Inn.
