It’s central to Halifax/Dartmouth and the Halifax airport. The ding is limited although Tgey seem to have a decent wine selection. Although we ate dinner there twice it did disturb my stomach. Not sure why.
The buffet breakfast was adequate with done selections missing or out altogether at times. The rooms don’t have a coffee maker but the lobby coffee is always available and good.
The room was not what we expected according to pics. The bed wasn’t too bad. The TV was ridiculous. The quick fix areas (caulking/ paint in bathroom) were sloppy and not effective. The sower curtain had no liner and was about 6 inches short. In tge 5 days we were there we got our own towels except for one day. Then I’m not sure if Tgey put up the same towels and we were missing bath mats, face cloths and hand towels. I cleaned the bathroom. beds weren’t made (I made the bed up daily except the last day), garbage/blue box wasn’t taken. We came back to the room one day and the room was really cold. 14 degrees?
When we first arrived both elevator flooring was torn. Not a good first impression.
The room was also a bit dated abd had a faint musty door. There was also no ventilation/fan in the bathroom.
The breakfast staff seemed stressed. Probably not their fault. It was always busy and messy. The blame should probably been on customers abd management.
I didn’t find that the front desk personnel were particularly adept at customer service. Some people are not suited to hospitality. More so lately.
