The Markham Hotel just opened back up 2 weeks ago from a 8 year renovation. It was over the top for luxury when you enter the lobby and rooms. Fantastic place!!

The feel of a high class hotel at a moderate price. The way staff greeted us to the service at the rooftop bar was superb! The room was super clean, spacious and comfortable. Can't beat the parking and location! Literally 1 block walking distance to a lot of restaurants and bars. Will stay there again while in the area! Highly recommended!

Absolutely beautiful hotel and so glad to see it return! Near everything and even a short walk from the Mississippi aquarium. A return to style and elegance for a price that won’t break the bank. Excellent in-house dining options we especially loved the breakfast cafe. Absolutely stunning decor and loved the rooftop bar! Highly recommend.

Wonderful place, so clean, great location. The only problem was you could hear everything in your room so had a hard time sleeping. Also, when we arrived I was greeted by an employee at the door who watched me struggle with my luggage since I had just had surgery on 1 hand.

We were there for a wedding, and the location was perfect. I had stayed in the hotel in 1967, and it was old then. The renovations were outstanding, and the service and friendliness of the staff were wonderful. Loved all the decorations and beautiful flowers. We will return again someday. The only complaints we had was the parking, because it rained so hard, and there was no shelter while unloading. The staff went overboard to help us check-in. I had a little issue, and they were so kind to help. We didn’t get to go to the pool and use all the amenities, but we will go back.
