This was a very nice property and beach area. The wristbands were annoying and scratchy. The showers were really small and shower heads were awful to rinse long hair out.

Location & Amenities

Highly recommend… location - like being on this end of the beach, closer to state park and pier. Less crowded, yet easy to walk where you want. Room location in complex is great - nice view, by stairwell that’s right by pool/hot tub, trash shoot and elevator right there too. And parking close for ease of unloading/loading. Room amenities- nicely stocked. Had all cookware/appliances we needed. Had extra pillows and quilts. Nice starter supplies in larger quantities than most places. Patio furniture better than places we’ve stayed making it more comfy to do work outside, eat, nap, people watch… Cell service - both at&t and verizon had issues inside; however, the host offered a wifi password for their locked network and that worked well. Cleanliness/family oriented - facilities were kept clean. Atmosphere is family friendly. Security does walkthroughs as well. Gym - son enjoyed getting to use the cardio equipment to keep in shape. There is a gym more inland you can get day/week passes if you need more equipment to not break routine. Rentals - chair rental company very friendly and helpful. Easy to just pay cash with tip when you get there. Hats off to this company in how they have trained their staff to handle the American flag with such respect each day. Communication - easy booking with clear follow up communication in timely manner. *note site says parking pass - which you must have - is $40 but is really $50.

Overall it was a nice condo but both toilets ran constantly, the ice maker didnt work, paint peeling in master bathroom, very few dishes , the knob on balcony door fell off so it wouldn't lock. We have stayed at other condos in the building that was much better

Beautiful Beach Property

Overall, a great stay right on the gulf with gorgeous views of sunrise and sunset. We loved the private patio accessible from the living room and the master bedroom. If you come, be sure to bring cooking spray, all the spices including salt and pepper you might want, non-glass drink ware, extra forks and beach towels. There are beach chairs and a beach blanket to use which was nice. Master bath had a few maintenance issues (some mold on the baseboard and peeling paint on the ceiling) but beyond that the condo was very clean. We were also glad there is an ice maker in the fridge. Upon arrival, our door code didn’t work but Customer support was right on it and we got on within 5 minutes or so. All things considered, I would rent this property again.

Very nice

Beautiful property. The beach itself is perfect for anyone- they have several wooden lounger chairs that have nice mats on them and umbrellas that can be rented for the day or week. The location is so close to the gift shops, hangout, pink pony, sea n suds, and the pier. If you can manage to walk about 5 blocks, you will be right in the middle of everything. The condo staff was very helpful and friendly. One thing i wish i had known was that this was a "no smoking" condo, meaning you cant smoke on your balcony either. Not a deal breaker, just good to know! Cant say enough about how nice our stay was here. We can't wait to come back.

Awesome!

Check in was simple with emails with door code and WiFi information. The location was perfect for young kids! It’s on the second floor so it was easy to use the stairs that were close to the room to get down to the pool/beach. The balcony is just above the hot tube but we didn’t seem to have any trouble with too much noise. Condo was clean and had everything we needed. Just what we wanted and expected for a condo on the beach. We would definitely rent this condo again!

Great Family Vacation!

We had a wonderful stay! The view is breathtaking and we enjoyed looking out at the ocean from our balcony. I will note that this condo is on the 2nd floor and directly above the hot tub area. So, it was very loud at night until 10:30pm, which is when the hot tub is closed. Thankfully, we brought sound machines and our kiddos were so tired from playing at the beach, they all slept fine. However, I feel like that detail is a good one to pass on to other visitors. If you have older kiddos or you don't mind a more lively atmosphere at night, then this might be the best spot for you! ;) The condo was the perfect size for our family of 5. In addition to the master bedroom, there is a small bunk room, perfect for kids, and a pull-out couch in the living room. There is no kitchen table, but the kitchen has a bar section that worked fine for us. But I must mention that the barstools are VERY wobbly and unstable, so that was a little worrisome with my little ones eating at the bar. The kitchen was a great space to cook in, but you'll want to bring extra cups and silverware. We ended up buying paper plates, paper bowls, cups and plastic silverware. If you are staying for a week, a few items that you'll want to bring along or grab at the store are: TP, paper towels, dish soap, laundry detergent and hand soap. Also, you'll want to bring along a hairdryer if needed! We had the best vacation and we will be returning to Lighthouse Condominiums!
