"Love the lodge, 2 things would love to see better though is the beds are very stiff and firm, makes sleeping hard, and the AC units in some rooms turn on and off every 30 seconds, becoming a disaster for noise at night, your better opening your windows instead."

"Despite the "nostalgic" ambiance of this motel property, there were so many basic upgrades needed, it would be impossible to list them all. I will first note that the toilet tank took a very long time to fill up after a single flush. The parking lot was well lit, however the bright lights made it difficult to sleep as there were no "black out" curtains on the windows. There was something resembling a smoke detector above the door (inside our room) that would emit a very bright flash of light every 30 seconds! The carpet was extremely stained and should be the first thing that gets replaced... a vinyl floor would be a big improvement. The mini-fridge was just "ok" but the freezer compartment was covered in frost so thick we could barely fit 2 ice packs in there. The fridge door shelves had broken guards, so it could not hold our yogurt or soda cans there. We had to prop a gallon jug of water in front of the fridge door to keep it closed. Need I go on . . . ?"
