My husband, infant son and I stayed in this apartment for 3 weeks. We chose this apartment because it we could have the flexibility of cooking and working remotely while doing a longer term stay in GDL. Our opinion of the property is mixed. My over all opinion is that it is a nice, clean, safe space for a short term stay but if you’re looking for something robust for a longer term stay - I wouldn’t recommend this apartment. Positives: the staff is extremely helpful and friendly and will respond to issues when alerted. The apartment is clean and furnished. Every room has an ac unit which is rare for GDL and made our stay very comfortable. . It also has a washer and dryer in unit which is amazing. It is pretty centrally located in Providencia and we felt extremely safe walking around both during the day and at night. Negatives: the kitchen that we depended on for most of our stay was sparsely stocked with some inexpensive kitchen items. Likewise, we had to buy all of our house hold consumables - toilet paper, trash bags, kitchen soap etc. In addition we had issues with the internet at the beginning of the stay which was very disruptive to our work. Although the owners did fix it - it took about 4 days which was disappointing. The apartment is a street facing unit which means that the noise from the street is very loud. Although it is well furnished everything seemed to have been done cheaply and quickly which means a lot of little details were missed.
