"This hostel is very expensive for what it is. The location is wonderful, and the staff is very kind and helpful. But the facilities are in serious need of a renovation, and at €60 for dormitory bed, it is absurdly overpriced. If you book ahead, there are other hotels in the area for approximately the same cost, but you get a nice, private hotel room in the city of Annecy. I booked this hostel about 20 minutes before I arrived. If you book ahead, there are other far superior options for the costs. I do not recommend this hostel unless it is the last resort."
