"We had a most enjoyable relaxing three days by the beach following 14 travelling through Tuscany. The standards and service were exemplary, the staff are all levels were so professional and friendly. The breakfast could not be improved and with such a setting it was great. Very high standards for the evening meal and of course you pay a premium for this. Rooms were large and only 2 minutes from the beach where you have your own lounger allocated to you for the duration. First class venue, expensive in parts but worth it."

"Das traumhafte Rustico Il Falco erfüllt alle Erwartungen! Das Haus liegt wunderschön mit herrlichsten Blick über die Hügel der Toskana, völlig allein und doch in fußläufiger Entfernung von dem reizenden kleinen Ort Caldana, der einige sehr gute Restaurants und einen Coop zu bieten hat. Il Falco ist innen wie außen sehr geschmackvoll und gepflegt und äußerst schön angelegt und eingerichtet. Die Betten sind sehr bequem, es mangelt an nichts. Der Pool und die verschiedenen Sitzplätze im Garten sind magisch. Dazu gibt es in der nahen Umgebung zahlreiche besonders hübsche kleine Bergdörfer zu besuchen, in denen man sich kulinarisch verwöhnen lassen kann. In Vetulonia befindet sich ein beeindruckendes kleines Museum zu den etruskischen Funden der Gegend. Und auch das Meer ist nah. Wir hätten nicht glücklicher sein können und kommen gerne wieder!"

"While the property itself is beautiful, our overall experience was extremely disappointing and fell far below the standard we expected. From the moment we arrived, we encountered multiple issues that were handled poorly by management and staff. Our initial room had no functioning air conditioning, making it uncomfortable and unusable. We were initially told the hotel was fully booked, yet we were eventually moved to another room after considerable discussion. This was particularly frustrating given that we had even offered to pay for an upgraded room. The most disappointing aspect of our stay was the way my wife was treated. When she respectfully raised concerns regarding several issues we experienced, members of the staff responded dismissively and, at times, appeared to laugh at her concerns rather than address them professionally. No guest should ever be made to feel ignored or ridiculed when raising legitimate issues. To make matters worse, hotel staff damaged my wife’s luggage during our stay. Management acknowledged the issue and repeatedly assured us that they would resolve it and make things right. However, after we checked out, those assurances turned into delays, excuses, and ultimately a complete lack of communication. Despite multiple commitments to address the matter, management stopped responding altogether. We booked this property expecting a memorable and exceptional experience for a special occasion. Unfortunately, it was terrible and staff underwhelming."

"Hotel is lovely and staff were very helpful. It is in a fantastic location in the heart of the city. However, room is not soundproofed, we could hear people going to the toilet in the room upstairs and a dog barking across the street for hours during the night. Breakfast was just OK."
