The Hoover Scenic Walkway originates on Walnut Street across from Miller Park beside the Galena Cemetery. The trail follows the old Penn Central Railroad bed has been converted into a ½-mile trail that traverses an old railroad bridge over the Little Walnut Creek. From the main trail, head down creek-side and follow the creek for a lengthier jaunt through the wilderness.
