"Retro motel that’s clean, located in a convenient location just minutes from North Sydney and the Cabot Trail, and with beautiful views of Kelly Mountain. Very friendly owner. For the room itself - there’s a coffee machine with ground coffee and the ceramic mugs were a nice touch. Beds were fine, not too soft and not too hard, but the walls can be thin, especially when someone flushes or runs a shower, which to us was no big deal. Still a bit of work being done, there’s no air conditioning either but late-June wasn’t too bad at all. Perfect place for a one night stay before heading to the ferry. "

"This was a wonderful property to stay at. Yon get a spacious room that looks out over the lake. Rooms are fully equiped for your convenience with fridge air conditionind (heat) .it was by far the best place we stayed at during our trip to Cape Breton we will be returning for sure. If your heading to Sydney it is about 30mins outside of the city. In closing i cant say enough about this property and the cost was unbelievable to get the quality of room for $130.00.i would rate the experience with a 10 out of 10. Thankyou for a great nights sleep."
