The lodge restaurant and rooms have great views of the Bras D'ors Lake! The rooms were surprisingly large and had chairs, tables and access to a balcony. Disappointingly, the lodge does not have lake access for kayaking and canoeing on premise. You have to go to a shared resort canoe/kayak rental on the lake. The restaurant food was quality and staff were really attentive and kind. Nice pool, too. Baddeck has much to offer and the lodge is really close by (walking or short drive). We would recommend staying at Silver Dart Lodge, especially for families.
