A very picturesque Inn. From the gorgeous flower beds to the stunning view i would highly recommend this oasis of beauty. The food was exceptional with large portions. You definitely got your money's worth. Can't say enough about the staff. Everyone was so helpful and the servers in the restaurant were efficient, super friendly and hard working. From the moment we got there to the time we left it was a amazing experience. If I could give it more than a 5 star rating I would. Highly recommend this little gem. Thanks for a great stay as we travel across the East Coast provinces.

We were tired so we didn’t use the dining room and we left too early to enjoy breakfast but smells coming from the dining room were wonderful. The place was very homey and relaxing. The older style suited us to a tee. Clean comfortable and secure makes it a choice for another trip

Auberge on the Cabot

The Auberge fit the bill for what we were looking for on our trip around the Cabot trail. It was a great location just a short walk to the Restaraunt we chose for dinner. The staff was very friendly and I especially enjoyed a chat with the two chambermaids that popped by thinking we were gone. The price/benefit ratio was spot on given the location and time of year, but I say that because it was inexpensive, dated, clean, thin walled, friendly, basic, odor/fragrance free, had a coffee maker and fridge. It’s what I usually get when road tripping and popping in for a quick overnight. I would stay here again.

Charming inn in Baddeck. Beautiful slopping view down to lake across the road. Hotel and restaurant staff were helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. King room was spacious, and being from Florida loved the in room fireplace. Tub was good size. I am a bigger guy, at #260. But fit into tub for a nice soak. Highly recommend the Alexander gram bell museum. The gondola ride was worth the hour drive. But prepare mentally for the 10 minute stretch up the mountain side literally along a cliff edge. On the return trip be sure to pull off at the observation stop at the top cliff for a panoramic view of the ocean.

Wonderful location in Baddeck, very walkable to a variety of places such as dining, shopping and music. Our room had everything we needed but there were a few cosmetic maintenance issues that could be improved upon.
