Smelled like a public restroom

The door to the room was janky and had a hard time opening it. Then walked into the room and it wreaked like a 7/11 bathroom.

Lights out

Vanity light not working. Pool was small. Other guests partied till late. Bed was comfortable though.

GOOD FOR THE PRICE

Pros: LOCATION NEAR FREEWAY AS WELL AS MAJOR CONVENIENCES ALONG SHAW. STAFF WAS EXTREMELY FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL.
Cons: ROOM MAIDS NEED TO BE MORE OBSERVANT OF TOILETRIES.
Location: GOOD LOCATION! I DO NOT KNOW ABOUT THINGS TO DO AS I WAS THERE TO RECOUP FROM A HARD DAY. POOL WAS CLEAN AND INVITING.
ROOM WAS CLEAN. PRICE QUOTE WAS NOT MET! BATHROOM LACKED BATH TOWELS, TOILET PAPER. FLOORS, UPPER LEVEL, LACK INSULATION. PETS WERE ANNOYING.

I had two credit card stolen and a tablet

Of you have no other choice...

The employees were kind, but not at all concerned with their actual job of running/managing a hotel. We had to find our own towels and pillow cases by having the staff search empty rooms. This happened because the staff "forgot" to do the laundry. Furthermore, we had to plunge our toilets 3-5 times for every single use...this was absurd and disgusting!! There was no soap and/or toiletries in the room at all. The blankets and sheets were stained and the room was filled with flies. The walls are so paper thin, that even the slightest conversation or movement in the rooms next door was loud enough to keep us awake. I would not recommend this location to anyone unless it is a last resort.

Bad Hotel, Do not bring family

Pros: The nightly and frequent visits of customers to the local prostitute two doors down was a nice touch to the ambiance of the hotel.
Cons: Make the backside of the hotel more lit at night so the people working on cars and trucks while blasting music can see what they are doing.
Location: This hotel seems to be "the" prime location for things to do nearby. The local drug dealer has spread the word to all the vagrants to visit frequently
My family and I were visiting family here and decided to stay at this hotel due to price. How could a big chain hotel with a competitive price be bad? Unknown to us, this was the first mistake. Upon our arrival (around 10pm) for our first night we noticed vagrants wandering the premises. I could understand if they were on the street, but they seem to be going back and forth around the hotel for some reason (we'll touch base on this later). This pressed the issue of safety for my pregnant wife and 2 year old as the hotel seems to be ok with this activity occurring on their premises. After checking in we proceeded to our room on the other side of the hotel which was poorly lit. We found our room which had a non-smoking sign on it, perfect for my wife and 2 year old, until we walked in and the smell of cigarettes was overwhelming (so much for non-smoking). Room cleanliness was bad to say the least. Stained sheets, stained carpets, stained shower / tub / curtain, hanging exposed electrical wires, dirty pillows, and a musty smell throughout. That is what we found upon entering the room. The mattress was uncomfortable and saggy. The channel selection and picture quality on television was terrible (nothing for a 2 year old), plus the remote was held together with painters tape. The smoke alarm was out of batteries and constantly chirping and after calling the front desk they sent someone who "changed" the battery, but the alarm still chirped. I ended up pulling it from the ceiling.

Motel 6 very disappointing.

Pros: Nothing much.
Cons: The clerk was unconcerned about our situation and not surprised that the room he gave to my party was already occupied.
Location: It's Fresno, Ca. I'm sincere in saying there may be lots to do and see, but I'm unaware of them.
Unfortunately for my party of three, including a 94 year old woman, Fresno was hosting a state-wide convention and our usual hotel was booked solid. So was everyplace else. I did book two rooms at the Motel 6 and upon arriving we were informed that the credit check system was down and therefore we had to pay in cash, which we did not have. The young clerk insisted on seeing my mother-in-law's ID as she was staying in the second room and he did not provide any other details nor suggest where we might find a cash machine. I asked if I could put my mother-in-law in a room while I went to get the money. He said no, We drove away, obtained the cash, returned, and at that time, decided to keep only one room for our party. The clerk accepted our payment, I gave the key to my wife, who would then take Mom to the room. When I arrived at a parking space, my wife informed me that the room was not made up, and it contained several items belonging to another party, luggage, phone, etc. I went back to the office, informed the clerk, who's response was " oh, was there a person in the room or just stuff lying around?" I cancelled, received my money back, and we made other arrangement for the night. All the while, four or five young men were lounging in the parking area. I don't know what they were doing, possibly guests with nothing to do or whatever. it was uncomfortable and we thought the situation could have ben made better if the clerk had shown any concern for our situation.
