I didnt like nothing. breakfast was horrible, and also my room was right next to the elevator, it disturbed me all night

Frederick, Maryland has hundreds hotels and this Hampton Inn was rated above average with above average rate. In the context of above average hotels with an above average rate. I checked out this morning and they would not give me a receipt for my bill. The front desk at the hotel informed me that Travelocity would send me one via email. They also informed me that they did not know my actual fee for the room. I am sorry to say that our room was next to the ice making dispenser that would come on and was noisy all night. I did mention this problem to the from desk. So, where

Great place !!...clean & well maintained. The stuff are friendly & always willing to help. I would definitely go back to this hotel. Loved it.

Convenient and cozy rooms

Pros: Quiet!
Cons: Better signage when working on hotel parking lot. A co-workers car was towed. Hotel staff seemed bewildered.
Nice king room with a sofa bed. Lots of room. Very clean. Nice large breakfast area.

Comfortable room

We arrived early morning after a long night of driving. We were greeted warmly by the desk staff, and another gentleman (hotel security?). Our room was clean, bed linens fresh, towels in good condition. Nice bath products. No "funky" smells in hotel hallways or in the room. Excellent value!

Can't find the entrance!

Pros: The breakfast was good and the dining area was large.
Cons: They need to tell people ahead of time how to get into the hotel.
Location: Frederick is a very historical and quaint city. There are nice shops and old churches to visit and a really nice park as well.
We checked in at night and we couldn't find the entrance to the hotel - we had to go through the entrance to a car dealer to get to the back lot of the hotel. There was no front entrance. After you miss the entrance (there is a sign that's really small and can only be seen after you turn into the car dealership), you end up on Interstate 270 and have to travel to the next exit to turn around which is four miles away. It was really frustrating! Also, there were only two elevators for the 6 story hotel and only one worked. The one that did work didn't always open its doors for your floor. Many guests were taking the stairs because of this problem. I would never stay there again. I had a great experience at other Hampton Inn but was disappointed with this one. One positive was the breakfast and the large dining area.
