"I booked a double queen, but was given a king room. We had to switch. My ice bucket had a used kureg pod and a dirty Qtip in it. It took 45 minutes to get a clean ice bucket. The pool was empty, guard on duty and the pool was dirty. He did nothing but sit at his station. I'll never stay here ..."

"I found 2 beetle like insects crawling in room, one in bathroom and other near the bed. Killed then and didnt report it to staff. Room was very cold,high 60's. When i Switched HVAC to heat and raised temp to 72 there was a minimal adjustment. Still cold when I woke."

"We loved the look of the property and the rooms. There was a lot of character in the rooms, decorated with furniture from the colonial time period, yet up to date in modern conveniences. We stayed in the king suite in the Chamberline House. It was like our own apartment. Restaurants on site were good and the breakfast provided by the bake shop was a nice treat. It was so close to Sturbridge Village and that was our original reason for staying there, but after being at the Publick House, we would go back even if we weren’t going to Sturbridge Village."
