Property was lovely, the amenities excellent, hosts were gracious and communicated promptly... BUT we had a significant issue with the toilets within 18 hours of our arrival! We provided detailed communication of the issue (which began with one toilet, then to the other toilet). We informed the host in writing before 8am ET and requested the toilets be fully functional by 5pmET. By 8:04pm ET, the host informed us the issue would not be resolved and suggested we get a hotel for the night...and that a plumber would be at the house the following day at 10am. I wish the host would have simply called the plumber immediately instead of having his "pool guy" try to fix the issue. Had the toilets been functional, we would have gladly remained in this lovely property. However, my wife and I were so displeased that we contacted VRBO and cancelled the rest of our stay. By 12:30am/1am, we gathered our belongings and left the premises. We cleaned up and sent photos and a video to the host to show we left the property as we had found it. My wife said she will never use VRBO again. This was not the way to spend our Family Christmas vacation. With all of that having been said, it was/is a lovely property with excellent ammenities and the hosts (Jonathan and Tania) were excellent in communicating...with the huge exception of not immediately fixing the toilets. Please read the many other fantastic reviews posted by other guests. It really is a lovely property!
