Well we booked the royal beach palace thr name on the front of the building was the Garden So that rite there was an issue . It seems they purchased the side with the kitchenette is not worth you will not use it and the rooms had a strange oder in that one unit ground level No refrigerator but a wine fridge which unless you only had wine that would work made the best of it when we purchased drinks Ice forget it took forever to get so purchased bags the days we were there Parking you pay 17$ a day while others provide free parking I had three rooms seems the other two on the garden side had a balcony and it says that property has three pools Only has one

No one came to change the bedding or clean the room the entire stay. When asked to do so, someone came 2hrs later with a bag of towels and a clear bag for me to change the trash. Property didn’t have an ice machine and it took them 45mins to bring us ice. Also, the property is under construction and they don’t tell you that until after you lay.

The reception staff was totally uncooperative. The rooms communicate with each other through doors, which was very disturbing. Our neighbors, a group of girls, room 407, had a party all night. Loud music, many visitors, screaming and a strong smell of drugs! The receptionists acted as if it was normal and did not intervene. I recommend you think twice when booking at this Hotel!

Had a great stay! The room was spotless, the bed was comfortable and the staff were very nice. I knew going in that they were under renovation and this was obvious from the reviews. The walls are pretty thin so you can hear a lot from the rooms next to you but again, this was also mentioned in the reviews and i was aware this may be the case so i brought a portable sound machine with me. Just have to do your researching beforehand! Would visit again!

Uncomfortable beds

The room was decent, however I had an issue with the bed. It was extremely uncomfortable and sunk in. I woke up all night long with a neck and shoulder pain. I let the staff know and they offered me another room for the next night. That bed was no better than the first. I was offered a discount but never received it. I spoke with two acting managers both agreed and said would receive a discount for my experience. However, later come to find out they would not offer me a discount I was never contacted my an actual manager. I requested to speak with the manager several times and still have not heard anything from anyone who’s in charge of that hotel. Very disappointed. I’m not a picky person and dont usually write reviews but I can’t help to feel like I would want others to know about this as they can avoid a terrible nights sleep on uncomfortable beds.

Perfect 10 minute walk to the beach! Easy to get to restaurants, and convenient stores. Felt like a very safe area, our room was so comfortable! Would highly recommend! Also only 15-20 minutes to get to the airboats for the Everglades, and 15 minutes from the airport!

We stayed prior to the remodel, and liked it. Was disappointed in the updates. Room was musty. There was a metal bar sticking out from the side of the bed my friend hit her leg on. Some staff was pleasant and helpful, while others felt like we were bothering them. Pool was heated last time. Not this time. Location ia convenient to stores, restaurants and shops.

This was a nice hotel with a close proximity to the beach. Be sure to stay on the side with the balconies, sitting outside on a warm late night is everything. Beware, there was an unexpected $18/day charge to park your car. Anything that we needed the staff quickly ran upstairs to provide. They did a really good job for our recent getaway

There is no elevator. There are many steps. The two-room unit didn’t have a single table and had only one chair. Small insects were crawling on top of the air conditioner and around the sink. The water in the shower didn’t drain. Access to the ocean is far on foot—private hotels don’t allow passage through.
