Needs improvements

This hotel has some problems it has roaches some rooms doesn't has windowsshades and sometimes the tv doesn't work

The AC wasn’t working properly and the maintenance man didn’t know how to make it cooler giving me a story about the thermostat not set properly. He set the thermostat at 54 and the AC set at 74. He said the thermostat was what was running the AC unit. When I left to run errands all day, I set the AC at 60 and when I returned my room was cold the way it should have been.

Courteous and professional staff at check in, morning staff seemed uninterested in my questions. Airport shuttle was ten minutes late and front desk staff was not to helpful. They just passed the buck. Staff would have been 5 stars otherwise. Breakfast ok for limited service hotel. Room very clean and quiet. Comfortable bedding and nice furniture/tv. Some major scratches and missing paint was all that was wrong...easily remedied but none the less made an impression. 100% would stay again. Good price and location.

We checked into the 1900 Sterling Rd location in Dania Beach Florida on May 31. Our room only had one light bulb that was working and the TV was out of order. We immediately reported the situation to the front desk, they brought up 1 light bulb and apparently found out all the TV's in the hotel was out of order. The next morning we discovered that the sink was not draining, and we reported this to the front desk, and asked to speak to a manager, but was told he was busy at the time. When we arrived back to the hotel that evening, after spending the day at an event, we still had no light bulbs and the TV still wasn't repaired, and the sink still didn't drain. The sink was repaired before we checked out, but we had no TV service and poor lighting the for the entire two days we stayed. The manager never acknowledged our concern.

Room cleanliness

The room carpet and floors were so dirty when you put the towel down to stand. It had dirt on it. Was not up to Best Western Plus standards.
