An incredible , historical, gastronmical experience.

This place has it all: history, the Missouri river, a welcoming town with museums, interpretive centers and walks. Even though it was very cold and off-season, we enjoyed it immensely. The room and hotel were wonderful-- beautifully restored with grand woodwork and staircases and seating areas, but the restaurant, the chef -- over the top. Can you imagine stout ice cream? With oatmeal cake/pie? Whoa, Nellie. The front desk personnel were great -- everybody was. Top notch!!
