The 8.4 customer rating is deceptive & subjective

It was a relatively last minute reservation and I unwisely clicked reserve based on an average 8.4 rating. It is no where near an 8.4 rating. It was old, the overall environment didn’t give off an essence of cleanliness. My daughter and I luckily travel with our own pillows so we could comfortably rest our head on that, be we opted to sleep on top of the covers because we weren’t convinced the bedding was clean (solely based on the overall vibe of the place, not because we spotted anything on the bedding). We didn’t have the breakfast in the morning but it seemed pretty standard. I’ve had way better breakfast options at other hotels with the same price point, but I also don’t choose a place based on the breakfast provided. All this to say, I personally wouldn’t stay at this property again.

Common spaces were very dirty. It took way too long to check in. Also I was charged twice for the incidental fee, I am hoping this will be corrected on its own and I don’t have to make a number of phone calls to correct it.

Decent budget friendly hotel.

The room was spacious, the beds were comfortable. The smell upon entering the building is unpleasant. The swimming pool they said was open but looked like swamp water but overall it was a decent hotel for the price. The room for the most part was clean, but there was a lot of hair in the bathroom.
