We loved the resort atmosphere. It was peaceful and relaxing--just what we were looking for. The drinks are pretty expensive, but that was literally the only downside to the whole trip. It is close to anything you want to do in the Keys.

This will be the second time i stayed at this hotel my first time i gave it 5 stars but this time i chose a different room and the walls and the floor were so dirty my little one couldnt be walking without shoes on because of how dirty the floor was also the bed had a blood stain on the headboard and the sheets were not clean. Honestly disappointed as cleanness is the first thing i look for in any hotel.

We’ve been visiting Islander since 2015, and each stay continues to exceed our expectations. From the moment we arrive, the warm and welcoming staff make us feel like family in particular Angela and Sarah .Their attention to detail and genuine hospitality have kept us returning year after year. The rooms are consistently comfortable, clean, and beautifully maintained, with lovely views and thoughtful amenities that make our stay special. The hotel’s ambiance strikes the perfect balance between luxury and comfort, making it an ideal place to relax and unwind. We also love the dining options — the restaurant offers delicious local and international cuisine. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a reliable, welcoming, and top-quality hotel experience!

Celebrating a birthday

I would like to say, overall my wife and I enjoyed our visit! We were celebrating her 60th birthday! However, there were a few things that we were dissatisfied with: Your website displays a beautiful beach with beautiful blue beach chairs to lay out and enjoy the beach views, but when we went to the beach, the beach was uninhabitable. There were alot of seaweed and green algae, and it looked too filthy to go in. Also, the pool is too small for a resort that cost so much. Website needs to be updated with current conditions.
