Room was not available due to maintenance delay, so a staff member drive us to another property which was a major downgrade. We paid $150 per night, but the posted rate for the new place was 55€. It didn’t have the same amenities as the hotel we paid for, in fact it felt like a hostel with a shared kitchen and paper thin walls.

We greatly enjoyed our stay in Fregene, a quaint seaside town that was very quiet, clean and friendly. The beach was about 100 yards away, the grounds of our room look like a garden and we did not eat one bad meal. A special shout out to Carlotta (enjoy your new home!) and Evan, one of the drivers who made our stay fabulous and stress free. Very accommodating and friendly, our stay in beautiful Fregene is one we won't forget and plan on returning next year. Grazie mille!!

Off Season Overnight

Hotel is in Fregene not Fiumicino! This added 2 hours to finding the hotel. We took a bus from the Fregene train stop but ended up in the wrong town and had to work our way back to Fregene. Thirty minutes from airport. A transfer to the airport was 35 euros. We were there only one night but wish we could have stayed three. Since we had to leave early in the morning we missed out on breakfast but coffee and rolls were available. There were not many guests do to the off season so it was relatively quiet. Staff was friendly and helpful. Wish we would have gone on a bike ride. There is a nice path for biking. Beach is a short walk. Had a good long walk with temperature at 70F. Very peaceful in off season but would expect it to be quite crowded and busy in the summertime.

Out of the way paradise.

Pros: Everything was perfect. Location and the staff were great. Delicious breakfast and plenty of coffee. 24hr at the front desk.
Cons: It could be improved with our return next summer. Hopefully.
Location: Hotel a short walk to the beach. Seeing the sea at sunset the first evening was inspiring. Many restaurants to choose from.
Wonderful hotel. Med style is quite appealing and the grounds are well kept. Staff was exceptional, Friendly and always available to help out or answer questions. Room was clean and quickly attended to. Great local. Near the beach and many delectable restaurants. The seafood was exceptionally good. Transportation to local sights is available and easy to navigate. Thank you again to Marco, Serena and the super staff for a memorable stay. Fiona too!
