Loved overlooking the Mississippi River! Beautiful view. Did not like that originally when I booked the hotel I booked the hotel as it said there was parking, when we got there no parking available. Had concierge parking only. Did not like that we had no control over the heat, they ended up finally bringing us a fan, & then shut off the heat.

Valet parking was a bit stressful cars were pulling up everywhere. There was a wedding and it seemed like those guest got priority over those waiting in the line. Too few elevators after a big event. Though staff were kind and got some on the service elevators which they had staff acting as guides which was very nice

A/C was broken in my room and would not go under 75 degrees. I made numerous calls with zero follow up to take care of it

I had a really unfortunate experience having stayed at the intercontinental a few other times. There was foreign hair on our shower wall upon our arrival, the shower was also severely clogged, the safe was already locked and unaccessible, the trash can had trash (food and kcups). It was really disappointing having paid a significant amount for the reservation and management seemed unapologetic.

Property was amazing! However, we were not told who was of time that they you are required to use valet and they charge $35. Upon checking in at 3:08 they said our room wasn’t ready, even though check in was at 3:00. And they wouldn’t let me use the restroom (we had just driven a long distance) until I had a room key. Upon leaving we were told we could call or text the valet for our car. We used the same text option and then waited 30 minutes for our car. My husband asked how long it was going to be and the guy replied, “Oh our phone is broken.” So they didn’t even have us in the cue to get our car. We ended up being late to where we were going. Solid disappointment.
