The room was dirty, we had NO hot water during our stay, the hotel is old, and the pictures that are currently for hotel, look nothing like what it currently looks like. I would NOT stay here again, even if it was a last resort.

We booked a room with double queen beds. When we arrived we were given a room with one queen bed and a pull out sleeper that fit one person max. The sleeper was small and not comfortable.So one person on an uncomfortable sleeper and I got to sleep on the hard floor. We were told this was do to renovations. So we received a downgraded room for our needs for the price we expected to pay for what we needed. Not ideal at all. Also, the water was never hot from the very first shower. Not impressed all around with this hotel. I hope it was just a one-off situation, but I feel it could have been handled better, and I don't expect to return to this hotel because of the whole stay.

That was the worst hotel I ever stayed in it was dirty. The rooms were dirty. They didn't have towels by the pool, you got a 100 kids in a little pool, and it stunk, by the pool.thpool area

DO NOT stay at this hotel. Room was dirty, sheets looked used, we didn't have HOT water for the majority of our stay, and they would do nothing in order to fix these problems. POOL is MUCH smaller than it looks, and we were there for a few days, and NEVER even got to go to the pool as it was literally packed all day/evening. No room to even get into the water, thats how packed it was. The whole place smelled of 2nd hand smoke and mary-jane smoke smell. Hallways were dirty, lobby was filthy. I WOULD NEVER stay here again, even if it were my LAST option. rooms are very OUT dated, very SMALL. Staff were not helpful. I even have a call into the manager, and I have YET to receive a phone call back after 2 days.

1st off requested a pool side room, didn't get one they put us on the very end room on 2nd floor. Arrived in our room and it was freezing cold turned up the heat just kept blowing cold air. Went to call front desk cuz we didn't have heat and the phone didn't work so used cell phone. Front desk sd they'll send maintenance. Maintenance arrived and flipped a cpl buttons and sd hell tell front desk to change us rooms we waited 15mins under blankets he never came bk. So we took all our stuff down to lobby where we got a new room. Now they put us on 3rd floor and I sd I requested poolside room and they sd too bad were sold out. So we went to 3rd flr room. Kids went to take a shower and there was no hot water called front desk again from cell phone cuz room phone didn't work in there either. Asked front desk about why there was no hot water and they sd hmm there must be something wrong cuz you're not the 1st caller to tell us that. So then they sd give it hmm 20mins and it should be warm. Sheets on bed had burn holes on them room had food on floor. Very disgusted won't ever stay here again, do not recommend.

Knowing the long history of what I would call a historic hotel in Fargo besides the Holiday Inn, I was extremely pleased. The room was nice, sure not the cleanest but very nice, I’ve paid double for a comparable room with the amenities in Fargo- awesome pool with slides, hot tub, excellent workout room and a bar/restaurant which made it feel more resort like. Obviously with its age it could use some touch up hallway paint and room deep cleaning, but I received well over and beyond what I paid. To boost my goodbye was the free hot breakfast which consisted of (beyond the typical waffle mix, bagels and juice), I was indulged with French toast sticks, excellent cheesy egg like omelettes, sausages, and I felt it was excellent, heck they even had tobacco which is a must for me… Only critique would be real cream for the coffee but that’s just a preference. Desk staff was friendly and helpful with a possible late checkout, and adjusted my room so I could be near a main floor door with no adjacent room. Will definitely be a lifer with their pricing and amenities!
