"Stunning hotel in superb waterside location. Only stayed 1 night sadly. One of the comfiest beds Ive ever slept on. Very nicely furnished bedrooms. Everywhere spotless. Lovely evening meal in Dolittle restaurant. My visit coincided with very hot weather - beautiful electric blue skies and a sublime view. Fan in room. Didnt visit the pool or spa but from above the infinity pool looked lovely (if relatively small). There are a few short trails you can do around the hotel. Staff were friendly, including Joao who checked me in. No faults at all - this very much falls into the 'treat yourself' category cost wise but I shall definitely return."

"We were traveling with two adults and two teenagers and were a bit nervous about staying over a popular pub. It turned out to be the absolute decision we could have made. We had a room with a double bed and two twins, which was perfect for our family. The pub isn't so loud that it bothers you while you are in your room - the only thing we had was a bit of street noice, but that's par for the course. The food in the pub is great too! The center location couldn't have been better - there is street parking and we never had trouble finding a spot."
