This is a cute little hotel. It feels like stepping back in time in some respects, but in a way that adds to its charm. I enjoyed the unique decor in the lobby. The staff was friendly. The room felt a little bit like a blast from the past but it was comfortable and clean. The bathroom felt well maintained and clean which is very important to me. I was a little disappointed in the breakfast- basically fruit and carbs, but its free, so can’t complain. Overall we had a nice stay.

The breakfast selection was awful. Bagels and cereal— for what they boast, it was very disappointing. The building is old, which is fine but there is no insulation so it is very loud. Please update the bedding. There is no need for bedspreads from the 90’s that don’t get washed with every stay. Change out the fabric chairs so you can wash them down. They were covered in filth. We had to sit on towels.

The facility is old but has been updated. But it is very noise and the people walking overhead sounded like they could fall thru the floor. The staff were pleasant and helpful. Sheets and bedding were so old they were literally limp. Coffee was terrible in the room and also at the breakfast bar where it tasted like a powdered mix. Breakfast was cereal, bagels and toast. It was free but not very enticing. The price was very affordable in March, so I got what I paid for.
