The Counting Zs guesthouse is clean and quiet, and the sleeping accommodations are simple and comfortable. There is a fairly well stocked community kitchen, also clean and well kept. The staff was very helpful, even though they are not on the premises. The Mexican restaurant right next door provided a delicious and filling meal, and we sat and ate outside in the warm evening.

Overall easy place for short trip. Only complaint relates more to another guest who decided to shave in the shower and left hair behind. Owner was very courteous to me and quick to respond with questions for my reservation.

The room was beautiful, clean, and functional. The bed, super comfortable. I enjoyed my stay here. The only issue was arriving without instructions on how to get in or what room # I had. I booked it thru hotels.com and they have some issue where I had to call the staff (there was nobody there), then register thru a web page to actually access my room. You have to call before 10pm! Once that hiccup was taken care of, everything went well. The staff was very helpful to resolve the issue.
