It was advertised as a retreat but they played loud music constantly. The chairs around the pool were all switched to uncomfortable wood ones, and while our room was technically clean it stunk so badly of bleach. If the music was calming and they had comfortable seats I’d recommend it.

In addition, the lobby can be up to a 10 minute walk up and down a lot of steps from your bungalow, making it a small trek every time you want to get to the lobby. It's very expensive by Nica standards overall and, while beautiful, don't expect an "authentic" experience. "
