Hotel is overall clean. Staff was friendly at check-in and during our stay there was always someone at the counter. Location is a bit away from city center, but uber or taxi are very convenient and economical. Would stay there again if my trip requires high speed rail to/from TPE again.

Travelers to Changhua County can choose from 10 quality hotels within an easy drive of Ershui, although there aren't any within Ershui itself.

The Leader Hotel Chi-tou, Taiwan, which is the nearest accommodation, is 14 miles (23 kilometers) from the city center of Ershui. A second convenient hotel is the Lukang B&B, located in Taiwan, about 20 miles (33 kilometers) from the downtown area of Ershui.

The Kindness Hotel Yuanlin is approximately 11 miles (18 kilometers) outside the heart of Ershui. Another alternative is the Smalleye Backpacker, which is situated 20 miles (34 kilometers) away. The He Ya Leisure Land B and B and the Villa of Palm Spring are two other Travelocity-listed places to stay in Ershui.

Changhua City Centre is 19 miles (31 kilometers) north of Ershui and is where you'll find Changhua Arts Museum and Changhua Confucius Temple. Changhua City Centre hotel establishments include the Forte Hotel Changhua and Changhua KuiKuan Boutique Motel. 10 miles (17 kilometers) to the north of Ershui, you can also stay at Yuanlin, which boasts the Yuanlin Business Hotel and Morn Sun Hotel. They offer a free early morning 5:35am tour (bike tour but you rent the bike which they have a great bike company partner) to see some of the Sun Moon Lake’s spectacular views. Yes it is very early morning but so worth it! And Wayne’s (the owner) knowledge and history of the Sun Moon Lake will be an amazing experience! Don’t miss it! Their free breakfast with authentic Taiwanese food is so good! Hard to resist not to get seconds or thirds. Highly recommend this villa and join the early morning tour! They made our stay and visit to Sun Moon Lake 10 out of 10! We are so thankful to them!"
