Stayed for 1 night. Best location and price. It is situated right next to the main harbour of Shueshi. Free bicycle hire. And buffet spreat was 5 star! The only complaint was Vincent the front desk guy who was not friendly.

This is a solid choice when staying by Sun Moon Lake. The hotel location is excellent with breathtaking views. There is direct access to both the town side and the wharf. The rooms are very clean and there are excellent powerful showers and comfortable beds. Bicycles are available for free for guests. There are some niggles: the property is a bit dated - think 1990s high end - some of the plumbing/ flushing temperamental and a couple of staff less friendly than we got used to in Taiwan. Some may not like the design of the room where you have to go through the bathroom to get to the sleeping area. These are minor points and if we had the opportunity we would seriously consider staying again.

2nd time that I stayed in this hotel. Ideal location even with a few parking spaces (we were lucky). But the hotel does not offer dinner since the chef ran away a few years ago. There is also no bar were to get a relaxing drink. Room service - forget it. Breakfast is good also catering a little bit for western desires.

Staff is great, very responsive, curteous, and helpful. I give the staff 5 stars. The room is however missing some essentials like toothbrush toothpaste and slipper. The shower is leaking water to the bathroom floor. But the view is amazing and the room is beautiful!

Staff are helpful and polite. Stayed in room with lake view and it was quiet and peaceful (on Friday night). Breakfast variety is plenty too. Hotel provided complimentary fireflies watching as it happened to be fireflies mating season. It’s just a short walk to get public bus to Taichung HSR station and catching ferry at pier. There’s free 2 hours bicycle rental. If you are there on non peak season, they can allow u to use it for a couple hours.

This Lakefront property has a beautiful view of the Sunmoon Lake. Parking is located just a short walk down the street. Our room was facing the street not the lake but was comfortable.

Fantastic location, clean room

Fantastic location, main restaurant overlooks the lake, limited selection for buffet breakfast. Mattress is very hard, room is spotless though furnishings are a little worn. Very generous with bottled water and shower amenities, but all the disposable plastic also means it isn't eco friendly

Stay away if you want a good night sleep

In general, for the price and quality, you are not going to find it fair at this hotel, they seriously have the worst and most uncomfortable bed I have ever sleep, it’s as bad as just sleeping like a homeless in a cardboard box, the AC isn’t working so the room become like a furnace at night. Cleanses is good, but as far as comfortable, you won’t find it here. You will have better luck at other hotels

The location is excellent, walking distance to the pier. The lake is roght in front of the property. Lots of restaurants around. The breakfast buffet have many items, cooked reasonbly well. Overall good value.
