Unsafe and Unsanitary

What you see online is not what you get at this hotel. The property is run down and feels unsafe. The pool area looks nothing like the pictures. The hot tub had a loose three-inch metal strip on the seat that could easily cut someone. The pool water smelled foul, and the bottom was covered with dirt and debris, raising real health concerns. Our room was just as bad. The carpet and headboard were stained, and the whole place smelled like wet dog. Some outlets didn’t work, which was both frustrating and unsafe. The shower doors and bathroom fixtures were rusted, adding to the sense of neglect. The odor carried throughout the hotel, making it especially difficult for anyone with allergies or sensitivities. Staff were dismissive and defensive when we asked about a refund, instead of addressing the problems. A caring response might have made a difference, but the lack of concern only worsened the experience. The hallways told the same story: filthy carpets, damaged walls, and no sense of upkeep. The overall environment felt unclean and unwelcoming. I share this so others can make an informed choice. A hotel should be safe and comfortable. Unfortunately, this one failed on both.

Bad experience

Hotel pool area is in horrible shape. Wallboard crumbly, paint peeling, dirty. Told front desk clerk how dirty pool was. He was in my opinion snarky about it. Back door to the hotel did not open with the key card. Had to walk around to get in. In my opinion, Hotel construction is such that you can hear everything from the room above you. Walking, talking, etc... Had kids above us that were up all night running and jumping and carrying on. Called front desk. They settled them down for a while but it didn't stop completely. Would not stay there again.

The property itself was nice but it was pretty busy-it was a weekend so to be expected. The walls are super thin and can hear A LOT. We were next to a “party room” where they were smoking weed, listening to loud music, slamming the door as they were in and out frequently through the night. We complained to the front desk but it still didn’t stop until after 1 am. We have little kids so this was really disappointing. The breakfast was decent. Likely would not stay again just due to how busy it was and the noise level.

Could have been cleaner, our room had a weird musty smell, the staff at the front desk always needed a bell to be summoned to duty and were very slow no matter the time of day. Pool was nice but hot tub jets were either too intense or didn’t work consistently. Food was good and well kept.

One person makes a difference

Pool and hot tub were wonderful. For breakfast, you get a lot of options. Hot and cold food is available. But there was a lady at the front desk… she worked nights and I wish I got her name. She had short hair, her grandson is autistic. We would come back just for her!!!
