the staff at the El Paso La Quinta (Wyndham) was great, pleasant and helpful - until - we checked out at 6:30am Tuesday morning 12/2. we came in to the office/breakfast area and there was no one at counter so we called out "hello?" to the open door. the young lady came out, never said hello or what can i do for you or anything. just a grumpy face. she never smiled, when we asked "is there no breakfast today? (the area was barren) she just said "i'll get it" like we were putting her out. the offerings were minimal and just barely ok. later, when we checked out she never said a word. we handed her our key cards , she glanced at them, printed out our receipt, handed it to us (again, nothing but a grumpy face) and went back into her room? bed? otherwise we were fairly happy with La Quinta. but because of our experience with the young lady and just an average experience with the rest of our stay (3 nights) i doubt if we will be staying at a La Quinta again. too bad.

The front desk clerk was less than welcoming. The floors were filthy in the lobby-eating area. The wall paper was torn. The carpet in the hall and room was stained. Breakfast was late and not good.

Toilet leaked from the bottom absolutely flooded the bathroom. Breakfast was very basic and not real fresh. Juice was extremely watered down almost not drinkable Rooms are run down. Beds are hard. Pillow is so flimsy might as well not use it. Would not stay here again

The carpets in the stair and hallways are extremely dirty. Was given a dirty room at check in. Had to walk back to the hotel lobby to get a different room. The room had no clenex, no shampoo or conditioner. I asked the housekeeper and was told they were out of stock. The morning free breakfast. They were out of orange juice and yogurt. I asked and was told that they were out and only had cereals, wafles and coffee. I will not be staying at this hotel again.
