The room was the cheapest Edmonton had to offer, but the word cheap, says it all. The towels were ancient and super stained, didn’t smell like they had been cleaned. The rugs were dirty and could see hair in every corner you looked to. Also I wiped down each surface with my own wipes and they weren’t clean after doing so. If you’re looking for a quick affordable stay, spend the extra $20 and go somewhere else.

Everything was great except the one lady that tried to profile us as aggressive people when one were both under the age of 25 were new to the travel experience alone, two we work night shifts so having to work until 5 and then be on a bus for 6 made us really tired, there was also no where on the website or the multiple emails that I received that said I had to pay a deposit it would be good to include it in everything if you don’t want the confusion from customers. That lady that dealt with us was very rude and called us aggressive for being held for two hours trying to deal with check in she was gonna deny us because we were getting frustrated from having no sleep and having the expectation that we were gonna sleep with in the hour of arriving not having our time wasted and to be insulted

This hotel is perfect for us, a senior couple on budget with a small dog. It is an excellent value hotel. Our room was clean, maybe a little small to travellers with lots of luggage - but it was totally fine for us. Breakfast is simple & plentiful, we liked it because that's what we have at home. Also there is a lot of space around for dog walk. We do have a concern, though. The receptionist took a scan of my driver's license. I don't understand why it was necessary; I don't feel secure about having this information kept atTravelodge. In the future, I hope Travelodge will just verify guest's ID visually only. Others hotels seemed to be OK when we presented the booking document from Expedia.

I do not like the $200 required deposit. I think it's too much and needs to be reduced. I will not return to this hotel because of the required deposit amount. I will not recommend this hotel to my friends and family.

Me and my best friend of 37 years were in Edmonton for the Lynyrd Skynyrd concert a few weeks back and we stayed here. I actually loved my stay. Nice and quiet, room service didnt knock on your door a thousand times (drunk night) one knock and that was it. Great staff all around, friendly and always with a smile and saying hello when.we walked back in after leaving for shopping, concert etc. They have a pool but not sure if it was running then, clean and fair size rooms, comfortable beds. Best of all is the lower rates out of a majority in the area
