I always enjoy staying at the matrix. Couple less liked things lately...the complimentary water, why not put it in the fridge? And the bed...time for new mattresses.

I found the room layout to be odd and dark. There was no light above the fridge/coffee maker, which was inconvenient. The barn-style door to the bathroom didn't close properly either. The hot water in the shower was plentiful and the water pressure was great. I found the staff in the restaurant to be going through the motions as was the front desk person when I checked out. The front desk person at check-in was pleasant and helped me through the surprise that the parking was $30/day, which I hadn't seen anywhere. Walkable to some good restaurants and I appreciated the Starbucks around the corner, which opens at 6am. Gym facilities were clean and well maintained.

Parking is very bad in this area, my truck was broken into during a night. Security cameras not covering whole parking, no security.

Usually when I stay at the Matrix it’s top notch. The staff are always welcoming and friendly. The rooms are very comfortable and usually quiet. However, This time, the coffee machine was broken and the supplies were not replenished properly. Although a call to the front desk straightened that out immediately. The thing that troubled me the most on this visit was when I checked out early the next morning. There were people in between the doors in various stages of undress. I did not feel comfortable leaving the property alone.
