It was great to be right on Whyte Ave for an evening of fun and walk right back to our hotel room after!! Hotel is very pretty, surprising quiet and has beautiful views!

Everything was fine but I booked for an out of town guest. I called the hotel ahead to ensure that the guests could check in without issues, their names was booked under the room and confirmed my credit card over the phone for incidentals. When my guests arrived they had to put their own credit cards for incidentals. Disappointing because it was confirmed on the phone and it delayed my guests check in.

This well-known property features welcoming staff and a surprisingly great included breakfast. Meterra’s prime south side Edmo location is truly in the heart of the action for an eclectic mix of shopping, restaurants and nightlife…which means it can get LOUD if your room faces trendy Whyte Ave, as all the suites do. Thankfully, Housekeeping provides ear plugs in anticipation of the Thurs-Sat chaos, and that definitely helped. Decor is rather dated and bedroom lighting could be boosted but generally this property checks all the boxes, courtesy of their helpful staff like Maria, Head of Household, who resolved minor issues re: cleaning consistently, as they were training someone new when we were there for four nights. The Meterra has earned its stripes and sells out frequently — I’ve already booked in for my next visit to Edmo!

The room was clean, shopping and restaurant options are great. Definitely a great location if you don’t mind the noise between 12-3am. The bed are not comfortable low ground for double beds rooms and the pillows were terrible. I would recommend kind bedroom as those were much better if I remember correctly. Air conditioners did

While noise is something to be expected for white Avenue, that was the only possible issue I could take with this stay. Hotel was in great order, valet was quick and effective and made parking a breeze, and the room was comfortable and cozy for all needs.
