"Bed was hard like a brick, very uncomfortable, shower had x2 shower heads - seemed to be an old one that was still installed and dripping was very weird, shower also had no hot water in the morning, the hotel is pretty outdated but in a good area, literally a minute to the Queen Victoria markets and a beautiful park across the road. The staff we saw on checkout were so friendly and courteous and the cleaners do a great job of keeping a pretty outdated hotel looking nice and clean. Would stay again for a short stay but wouldn’t recommend a long term stay. "

"Pegassis is a lovely place to stay. The staff are very nice. We would recommend any person looking for a Melbourne stay. It is a 5 minute walk to Queen Victoria Markets. Buffet Breakfast is really good."

"Hotel was clean and convienent except that the lift did not go all the way to the room floor. This meant dragging 23kg cases down a short staircase. The hotel staff did not mention this upon arrival."
