"Perfect hotel for the last night before leaving to the airport. They arranged an early morning shuttle, and a pickup from the water taxi and tour of the monkey sanctuary the day before. Then I relaxed poolside and had a delicious dinner in the restaurant. A very peaceful place on the river. The sound of the monkeys at night was fascinating!"

"The resort was lovely and the views from the room and restaurant were beautiful. The bungalows were cozey ... but the noise was a lot at night. San Ignacio seems to never quiet down at night time anf the thatched roofs do not offer much for sound proofing. Bring earplugs for sleeping, especially if you are a light sleeper. I imagine this would be an issue anywhere you stay though. "

"Room was clean enough. The bathroom was weird- the toilet was wedged into an area next to the shower. Using it was almost an acrobatic experience. Front staff helped when asked. This is a budget hotel, and for the price its a pretty reasonable deal."

"Pros: pool, butterfly garden, decent restaurant. Cons: room was basic with no dresser or space to put clothes. It was noisy overnight and we were kept up. No regulation for parties etc. the hot water kept going in and out. There was a lot of construction noise. One staff member was really helpful, the others not so much. If you care about sleep, this is not the place. "

"All the staff were friendly and helpful. Location cannot be beat. Loved slow mornings watching the wildlife from our front porch. Food was great and our accommodations were cozy, clean and well maintained. "
