"Hotel was run down. It did seem that they were making renovations. There was a lot of debris in the parking lot and under the outside stairs but most of it was from the improvements under way. The sink and counter were new and had a very nice shower surround. Problem is that it was between a stained tub & rusty drop ceiling. Controls on the heat / ac were completely worn off but functioned well once I figured it out. Overall it's a "you get what you pay for" situation. I just needed a clean place to sleep for the night while traveling. It suited that need fine. Can't say I would recommend for a family or long stay but close to the highway and plenty of shopping near by. I got in late so only interacted with the desk clerk and she was very friendly. Parking isn't the greatest but if you're on the ground floor you can pull right up to your door. If you want a cheap, no frills place to lay your head for the night maybe worth a shot."

I could not tell that anyone had even checked the room. The front desk staff was not rude but they were certainly not friendly or welcoming. The desk was left unattended and I had to wait for service on multiple occasions. I tried to call for a wake up and my phone would dial only and the desk clerk could not hear me and quickly stated, "Well I guess you're just gonna have to walk down to the desk", indicating that she knew the phone did not work. I am a diamond member and I will be working every other month in 2026 in the Bay Minette area. While Comfort Inn and Suites is generally my first choice, I will not stay at this facility again. Very disappointing. "
