There was an odor in the house (probably dead rodent) that was very noticeable. When I messaged the host about it he said that “someone from his team “Would come check it out but no one came. I messaged him again the next day as well

Clean, lovely linens, a/c, cool vintage feel.We loved the sunroom. It was bright, nicely decorated and comfortable. 5 minute walk to beach and firepitThe kitchen came complete with paper and stoneware dishes, tin foil and plastic wrap. Very convenient. Finally, the host was great to work with. Plenty of communication and all of my questions were answered promptly. I highly recommend a stay at this property.

Great lake house! Everything was exactly as expected and owner is very responsive and easy to contact, but we didn't need to ask for anything. Check in and out was easy, and cleaning tasks at the end of our stay were none, which we were extremely pleased with.

The WiFi in the house was excellent. I was able to hold a Zoom meeting there. My husband and I chose the house because we love to swim. We did not expect that plants would be growing in the water, but we got used to walking and swimming through plants in shallow water to reach deeper water.

Silver Jubilee getaway!

My 18 year old found this amazing spot, for our Anniversary! We wanted a lakeside getaway and this was ideal in so many ways. We spent the afternoons at the lake and when the weather permitted, we had breakfast there too. It rained both nights which also allowed us to have cozy indoor time together. We had puzzles to choose from, the record player was always on and what a vast range of music to choose from. While we caught up on a few TV shows, we grilled on the conveniently positioned BBQ grill, right outside the kitchen door. We were 4 and the accomodations were quite spacious, perhaps for 7 people.Our Host thought about everything!We're making this our go-to getaway spot and will tell other members of the family too.What a memorable weekend!Thank you,Sarah B.

This property had easy access to the lake and had nice character. it was a quick overnight and wished we had more time to enjoy it. Kitchen pots and pans and bath towels could be updated. Bathroom door needs attention as its hard to close.

Quaint cabin right in the lake

We were in the area for a research meeting, but our other rental was canceled on us a day before our arrival, so we were very thankful to find this one at the last minute. Check-in was very smooth, and the property itself was cute, very quirky and rustic, with a lovely view onto the lake. We didn’t have much time to spend there, because we were in meetings all day, but we appreciated the quiet neighborhood and the peaceful surroundings when we got back at night. The kitchen was also well stocked with all the basics you would need to cook a simple dinner. And there were disco lights in the living room! Joseph was very responsive to our messages about heating and extra blankets. All in all, we had a pleasant stay in Coventry and would recommend it to anyone looking for a cabin with lots of personality!

Great little getaway

Would have loved to stay at the property longer. We were in connecticut for a long wedding weekend. The fall leaves were beautiful and the weather was perfect. We had everything we needed. Easy in and easy out. Will definitely stay here again.

Nice weekend at the lake

The house was well stocked and so nice to have little things taken care of. It was very nice and close to the lake. It was a very quiet and peaceful location. Joseph was very responsive throughout. Thank you!

Rustic Lakehouse

The house was ok. I thought it was on the water because of the photo in the listing on VRBO. The house itself is very dated and exterior steps are deteriorated. It also had a musty smell. I liked how the house came stocked with some extras like k-cups, paper goods, toilet paper, paper towel and laundry detergent. The neighbors house next door with all of the junky cars was also an eye sore.

Perfect Cottage for Our Two-Week Stay

We just left this property after staying there for two weeks. It was the perfect spot for us. On the lake and still close to everything. Joe was very attentive and responded, quickly, to our questions and concerns. I would stay at one of his properties, again!

It a cute cottage style house that is steps away from a beach on the lake. Very close to the neighbors. If you play the record player you will cause a noise alarm to go off which I was not aware of prio to staying there.

Lovely lake view cabin

Very very nice. Clean and very comfortable. Loved being able to see the lake in the morning from living room and eating nook. Really liked the touch lamps in bedroom. Could easily stay there longer. Will keep in mind for Christmas family gatherings as it is roomy enough for us (4 adults).
