Junipine Resort
"Your rental unit is assigned at check-in, and we were pleasantly surprised with the size of our unit. It was much larger than we expected and way more than we needed. The furnishings and flooring did show signs of wear in some rooms, but the kitchen was nicely updated. Both bathrooms had tub/shower combinations and 2 separate vanities. Both downstairs bedrooms also had larger than average closets. Everything was clean and ready for guests. The loft area would be great for kids (2 twin beds and a small table and chairs). The large, wrap around deck, 2 fireplaces, skylights, forest and window views made the place very lodge like and cozy. The king size bed in the master was very comfortable as well and we are picky about beds. Yes, the place could have used more updating, but it was perfect and exactly what we wanted for a relaxing getaway in Oak Creek Canyon. The on-site restaurant isn't open on Monday or Tuesday, but it isn't too far to go to Uptown Sedona (about a 15 minute drive). The full kitchen is well equipped for cooking for a whole family. Finally, the grounds are beautiful, especially the area down by the creek. We would definitely stay here again."
