The property was fine & staff were great some lack of communication at checkout woman was extremely accommodating ⭐️ plus 9 The problem is with your promise of a 15% reduction your company offered upon checkout No reduction she had no knowledge of applying a discount & I canceled another room at another hotel to save 15 % So what is Travelocity problem with following thru on their offer. 😟

Outside my bathroom window was a steel security gate with the locks removed, a homeless persons blanket stuffed in a tree, empty food container, beer bottle, toilet paper? The rooms are clean and very well appointed! 4 stars on that. The traffic is deafening. You are on a 4 lane boulevard that is one of two ways in and out of this city, the County Seat.

Safe and comfortable

Pros: Close restaurants, Free Internet
This was a great value and a nice spot to stay. The room was clean and comfortable. I felt safe and it was convenient for working in Concord. The manager was very nice and helpful. I would definitely stay again.

This motel was unsatisfactory even though the sign out front claimed it to be a 'Superior' motel

After earching the internet for 'pet friendly' motels in Martinez, I selected Muir Lodge as it was closest to my main activity location. Upon arrival with my dog and daughter I was informed by the clerk (possibly the owner) that dogs were not allowed in the rooms. Upon showing him the site on "pet friendly motels" he stated that he did not know how that happened and refused to allow my pet. Okay, so I made arrangements to keep my dog in the shade for the day and sleep in the car at night. In addition, it was 95 degrees outside so we decided to use the pool to swim and cool off. Just before entering the water, he came out o the office and said that the pool was 'broken' and not to use it or we would get sick! Also the TV was connected to satellite and only one channel was operable with no instructions for operation.

Quiet Stay

Very friendly stay and quiet. But my only gripe is I am a dummy with TV's and this remote was one I could not figure out. So really didn't watch any TV. It had the digital Tv service and like I say, I am a dummy with these things.

Staff and rooms are great. Great hospitality from XYZ, also he does a great job making sure rooms are clean. Been coming here for the last 7 years for work. Very peaceful. I would recommend the stay to anyone.
