Unsafe and Unclean - DO NOT RENT!
Do not be deceived by the pictures of this place. Someone bought a cheap apartment in what seems to be a low-income housing development. The area is unsafe and unclean - trash everywhere, broken windows and blinds all over the place. The apartment lock did not work appropriately, which made us feel more unsafe. We ultimately took one look at the environment and the apartment and decided to go somewhere else, even though we had already paid in full. The inside of apartment looked like someone had just slapped paint on the walls and called it renovated. The pictures are purposefully staged so that you get a view that is not accurate to what you receive when you get there. I have tried to reach out to the host multiple times to get a refund, and I have had no success in doing so. I am currently working with the management of Vrbo to secure a refund, but I don’t know if that will happen or not. I share this review, not to be unkind or difficult to the property manager, but to warn and to help others who may fall prey to a similar situation. There was only one 5-star review of this place when I secured the rental, and I was a bit nervous about that. I should have gone with my gut instinct and walked away. I want my money back.
