My family have been using this location for the last 4-5 years. I won't stay anywhere else unless forced to because this place is out of rooms. The staff is friendly, our room is clean and the food is great. I have a room booked for July. It's a 5 star for me.

Clean... expensive comparably.

Breakfast was $12 per person for a similar free breakfast at other chains. Was nice but would be happier with a less expensive Hampton and a free breakfast.

awful bed

Room comfort is low because we detested the "air" bed. Hard hard hard and not good. Receptionist was very nice and room was clean.

Usually good, but disappointing this time.

Pros: Free Internet
Cons: limited staff on holidays, variable housekeeping standards
This is my second stay here. Last year we had great service and appreciated the close proximity to shops and restaurants. Staff were very courteous upon arrival but we were very disappointed by the housekeeping services this stay. Our bathroom smelled musty and the ice vending room smelled like garbage. Housekeeping skipped our room after we left at noon and they were working on the room next door! And at that time a staff member even saw us leave and avoided eye contact. When I called to ask for washcloths and explained that we had been skipped they did not apologize. I expressed my disappointment at checkout and they apologized then but did nothing else. Normally I would give a better rating but this was not acceptable!

Everything you'd expect and more

Referred by co-worker of mine who'd stay a few times last year. Great hotel, feels brand new but actually a few years old. Very clean and the staff is great. Breakfast was just wonderful, huge omelet and plenty of other items to choose from for a great price. Creative daily specials at night, really enjoyed Libby and Erica at the bar. Front desk staff very nice and overall staff really acted like they cared about me which was pretty cool. Luckily my job should keep me coming back to that area and hands down it's where I'll stay from now on!

WOW - What a great hotel!

Great interstate location - easy access without noise from the actual insterstate! Excellent staff - very friendly and really made me feel welcome. Food in the grill was fantastic, I wanted something that wasn't on the menu and the chef came out and spoke with me and created a great dinner. The room was impeccable and even the housekeeping staff would stop and ask how my stay was and if I needed anything. Manager was a pure joy to meet and she's got a great team. Easy decision on my next trip into SAFB, I'll stay with the HGI. But tip to fellow travelers - book early, they sell out a lot during the week.

fair stay

not up to hilton standards but ok , shower head was very tall , couldnt adjust nozzle , bed was not that cmfortable .

Good stay

Hotel is 2 months old, everything is new. Good pool/Sauna, Great exercise room with TV's on all units. Good sit down breakfast, although not free, it's an OK value. The hotel ias known for their beds, which are very good - but a bit on the firm side. The pillow cases were so new that they were a tad starchy. Overall a great stay for Ofallon.
