We got in late Friday night around 2am. The room we were given was atrocious. We had to spent the night because at that hour we had no other option. We had to get up early this morning for a full day, so luckily we were only there less than 6 hours. The room is terrible. It smells like mold and mildew. The floor/carpet felt wet & sticky. It looks like there has been water damage everywhere in the room. The bed had stains on it. There was no hot water in the shower and the TV didn't work. The hotel itself looks like it should be condemned. We woke up with headaches Sat morning, because the smell is so strong and did not dissipate. We could not stay there another night. It seems unsafe and hazardous. We had to cut out trip short and drive back home Sat. When we arrive, we actually thought the hotel had gone out of business. That's how terrible it looked. The booking did not show accurate pictures of the condition of the hotel.

We couldn't stay. The manager nicely showed us 3 rooms and they all smelled like smoke, including the lobby. We went elsewhere. What got interesting was the next day we asked hotels.com for a refund. This hotel had to confirm that we never stayed there. The hotel never picked up the multiple phone calls from hotels.com, therefore I couldn't be refunded. I literally went over there and watched him ignore the call as I was sitting in the parking lot. I went in and asked why he wasn't answering. (He had answered my call, same number, why wasn't he answering theirs?) I had hotels.com on the phone and they stated they couldn't talk to him from my phone (I understand). I remained calm and professional the whole time but it was quite obvious I had him flustered. He never answered any calls even after the interaction. Hotels.com was nice enough to give me the refund anyways considering everything I had been through to try to get this refund back. The hotel is overall in rough shape. I'm assuming they just didn't want to give me the refund because they needed the money. My advice is to stay away!! What a circus.

The staff was very friendly, but the hotel had roaches and was in bad shape. Also, the pictures on the website showing La Quinta Inn were not the same hotel when we arrived with no signage and in awful shape.

This room was disgusting. AC did not cool properly and there were numerous roaches in the room. Bathroom was gross. For $300 I expected the room to at least be decent.

It was a game day weekend so limited availability for places to stay. This inn had availability so we got a room. The bathroom had pee spots on the floor and the toilet seat hadn’t been cleaned, obviously. The room generally looked like it hadn’t been cleaned outside of the beds being made. The whole place needs an overhaul cosmetically, but we can look past that if the grounds and rooms were kept clean. We thought about staying elsewhere but there weren’t any other options. We almost slept in the car in the parking lot since we didn’t feel comfortable with how sanitary the room was. Don’t recommend.

Motel OK

The location is great because it’s right next to the A&M campus, but it is an old motel and there’s a lot of remodeling going on. It was not a really nice place but for the age and the type of motel it was clean, but I don’t like carpeting and smelled strange. The bedding was clean and the shower was clean. I was only there one night for the game. During the game time you pay about 300 a night so not worth it but at the same time it was safe and I didn’t feel like it was gross. I would stay there again if I didn’t get a hotel earlier in the year. There’s not a lot of options last minute. They also allowed my dog to come with me with a $10 pet deposit. All in all a decent place mostly because of the location and friendly owners. Pool was clean and outside my room.

I have nothing good to say about this property. The bed linens were dirty, the bed skirt had cigarette burns and a crusty substance in multiple place, there was hair on the bed, the non-smoking room had been smoked in, everything was sticky, dead bugs in the wall, blood spots on the door frame, and it is an active construction site with detritus all over the property.
