I like this property. The first time I stayed here I could plug in my hybrid car to charge for a couple of hours. Now the charger is broken and has not been repaired. Only Teslas are able to charge. 😕

The lobby and restaurant are clean and attractive. The restaurant has a great view of the river. For the money this place is incredible. The bathtub/shower is clean & deep (great for soaking a sore body. i have worked in this business and admire this hotel. We travel to Montana annually, so we'll be back. In the restaurant Tallie took great care of us & the food was very good.

Visit was in preparation for surgery the next morning at Northwestern Specialty Hosp. Home was too great a distance to drive there same day, so stayed ar Red Lion. Room was a handicap accessible room which was great. Bathroom had pull bars, & shower was a straight walk into with no tub lip which was a blessing. Room was clean, comfortable, & everything easily accessible. Next morning, quickly arrived at hosp & surgery went well.

Sadly Templins has gone down hill. This was once a gem to stay at. Mildew in the sink, black (dirty) grout, single coat painted walls, slashed curtain, broken bathroom knob, broken door lock and a domestic violence dispute next room over. The lobby looks nice but rooms are in need of a complete makeover.

A comfortable room at a fair price
We had a room with a comfortable, king-sized bed and nice extra space for our gear. The patio looked out on the river, which was very nice. the bathroom was a bit small but manageable. We appreciated the fridge and microwave, but were surprised that there was not a coffee maker in the room. The price was fair and the location was great.

The staff was very kind. There are two buildings on the property I’m sure the views from the first one are great. The second building could really use an update to the rooms. If you have someone staying in the room next to you expect to hear all of their conversations.
