La Quinta Resort & Club, Curio Collection by Hilton
"I loved my stay here. The property is beautiful, relaxing, and full of character. The main swimming pool is especially nice for lounging and grabbing a drink. The drinks were good, although I did think the prices were overpriced, but that is to be expected at a resort. Because the property is older and historic, some of the rooms still have dated closets, cabinetry, and finishes. I think those areas could definitely use some updating, especially for a hotel considered to be at this level. Other than that, I had a great experience. The staff was wonderful, the location was peaceful and beautiful, and I would absolutely stay here again. Just keep in mind that room rates can vary dramatically depending on the season and when you book. I paid a little under $400 per night, but I’ve seen rates go over $500. Personally, I don’t think the rooms themselves quite justify that higher price point, although I still really enjoy the hotel and appreciate its historic charm. Parking was very convenient. There is an additional fee, but I was able to park close to my room and never had trouble finding a space. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay and would happily return."
