Bathroom needed attention - the sink is severely cracked, the bathroom door does not stay open unless a trash can is placed in front and the tub drain is missing (the drain is wide open and not safe for small children.) The room was just fine, clean and AC was cooling well. Target and a few other stores are very close and are only a short walk through the parking lots.

With a freight train below, and a very busy street, followed by the nearby highway it's is freakishly LOUD in this hotel. Moreover, the trash truck or perhaps a dump truck came in the middle of the night and kept banging banging banging against something. It sounded like dumpster wars outside. The room was clean, the bed and pillows were fantastic, but I couldn't sleep because of all the NOISE! Maybe replace the windows?

Great parking, update rooms. Miss the hot tub. Could have better variety of breakfast food but can’t complain too much. Can hear other clientele slamming their room doors at all hours of the night and can hear the traffic go by all night by the highway.

Our room was fairly clean but there was some purple glitter on the tables and a hook was broken. The pool area was messy with wet towels and eyelashes on the deck, and hair in the pool. The front deck clerk was very friendly and helpful though. Unfortunately my daughter and I had food poisoning from the sausage at breakfast—no one else in the family had the sausage.

This hotel is very comfortable, spacious, and nice—like a complete package, and it exceeded my expectations. I really like this hotel. Transportation to downtown Chicago is also very easy from here. The key is to avoid Forest Park Station; instead, take the line toward the airport first. It’s a bit of a detour, but much more comfortable.
