The room itself was basic but clean and functional. The bed was comfortable, and the air conditioning worked well (which was a relief during the summer heat). There was also a small desk which made it easier to get a bit of work done in the evenings. Wi-Fi was free and mostly reliable, although it did drop out briefly once or twice. Staff were friendly and professional. Check-in was quick, and they were happy to store my luggage after checkout since my train wasn’t until later in the day. Breakfast was included — nothing fancy, but it had the essentials: toast, eggs, some fruit, and coffee. Honestly, better than I expected for a hotel in this price range.

The room key didn't open the door. We let the front desk know and they told us it was a known issue and gave us another room. The cable in the room didn't work. The pool didn't have any towels and was a mess. There was a hot tub but it looked like it had been winterized and never re-opened (in August), The beds were hard and the pillows were thin. The guy at the front desk was really responsive and did whatever he could to help us, but in general, the facilities sucked.

Outdated hotel that’s needs a professional refresh and deep cleaning. Stopped by the breakfast area the night before and it was dirty and was still in the same show the following morning like it was not cleaned after breakfast. Pics of pool were not recent and the hot tub was broken/covered when we were there. The place had a run down feel to it and was like they did minimal to keep it going.

Overall the facility was quiet. We had an issue with our AC where there was mold and our entire floor was wet. We asked for a different room and alerted them of the situation to which most of the staff tried to help but there was a staff member there who was extremely rude to myself and partner. The pool area is extremely dirty. I understand it’s outside, but they look like they have no pride in the facility at all. The next room we got was better. But definitely not worth the $600 for 2 nights.

This hotel was nice and convenient to stay due to the closeness to bush gardens. 5 minutes away. The only observation we had was the air quality in the hotel was a bit musty on hallways and main areas. The rooms were organized and clean. We could have use a bigger trash can in our room. Since we were a total of 6 guests.

I was disappointed, we’ve stayed there in the past on a few occasions. It was different this time. The curb appeal was terrible almost run down condition. Our room smelled very musty, the air conditioner was very loud there was mildew in the bathroom and very rusted shower curtain rod and it was hard to get clean towels, and the pool was a bit less desirable. I did not take pictures and I or my families will have to move into somewhere else for our yearly visit. I do want to say that the staff and breakfast was nice.

Pet friendly, but not clean

The hotel is showing its age. It appears to have recently been somewhat refreshed, however, the hall carpet on floor 2 is filthy. The tile flooring in the lobby was coming up. In our bathroom the ceiling had spots all over it, the recessed light didn’t have a can on it, the back of the door looked like an animal had chewed it up and the A/C didn’t work well. We found pieces of Doritos in one of the chairs at the table and the big red wing chair was covered with stains. We stayed in a pet friendly room, and you could smell urine. The breakfast was subpar…not a lot of variety to choose from. None of the staff wears a uniform, so it’s hard to know who actually works there. It is in a great location to Busch Gardens, but of you are looking for a clean, newer looking hotel- I would recommend someplace else. If you need a pet friendly hotel, this will serve that purpose, but don’t expect much else.

Layout of rooms was great with 3 beds and 1.5 bathroom. The building is really old and can use a makeover. Still has poppy sealing. Curtains have holes in them. Just feels dirty. The whole place has a muggy smell. Hallway carpet is torn, doors have marks. Bedsheets have a smell to them. Only has 1 elevator which smells awful. Stairs are the same. Only 1 washing machine works. Front desk does not have quarters. Breakfast guy was nice and helpful. He tried his best to accommodate us with what he had. Staff is helpful, but they have their own limitations with what they are provided. Could be smell of medicine for roaches. Place is close to Busch Gardens. Hotel does not provide shuttle to Busch gardens. Water pressure in shower is good. Cleaning is every 3rd day of your stay is longer. Will not stay here again.
