Great location near historic Williamsburg. One of the most comfortable bed I’ve experienced and the a/c worked wonderfully while it the weather was in the 90s. Very polite and attentive staff! We highly recommend this hotel.

What a quaint slice of Americsna! Great little motel that has been well maintained. Very comfortable beds. Walking distance to historic Williamsburg. Incredible staff—alllowed us to check in early for my son’s Zoom interview. Just loved this place. Two thumbs up!

This reservation was for a school trip. Four (4) rooms for five (5) nights. Asked for connected rooms for two boys and two girls rooms. This did not happen. Facility unsafe, marijuana smell in one room and in parking lot area. Our group did not stay at Rodeway and had to find other lodging in Williamsburg after a 15 hour drive from Florida. Manager was not very cooperative and would not work with us. We are a not-for-profit educational school. I have gone on-line with Hotels.com to ask for a refund based on our non-stay at Rodeway Inn Historic in Wiliamsburg, VA NEED YOUR HELP! It cost our school over $1,500. THANK YOU!

Great stay! Liked the louvered doors.

Great stay. Friendly staff. Nice that it was walking distance to CW. I especially liked the louvered (slotted) door in addition to the main door at the room. It was comfortable outside so we could leave the main door open and close the louvered letting air in but still have privacy. People from the outside can't tell if your main door is open.

Staff was extremely nice however the room was horrible! The door did not close, there were stains on towels, walls, the toilet had a hair on it, the soap was opened. I have stayed in many places, this was by far the worst.

For the price it was a great deal. My bathroom was a little dirty with toothpaste splattered on the bathroom mirror and the sill dusty. But no sign of bugs. The mattress was comfortable.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS LOCATION!!! This was the worst hotel stay of my life. Actually, it is more of a motel with each room opening directly outside. The room was dirty, the blow dryer started on fire, and I was traumatized by the BAD LANGUAGE, FIGHTING, and LOUD SEXUAL ACTIVITY taking place in the next room throughout the night. I felt so unsafe, violated, and sleep deprived after being woken up repeatedly during the night that I checked out in the morning and found someplace else to stay. The assistant manager was rude and blamed me for my bad experience since I didn't walk outside in the middle of the night to report the situation to hotel staff. This was not a safe location to stay!

The front desk staff is very well dressed. She was very kind! The lobby was beautiful. Very historical. The carpet in the room needed updating. The room smelled musty, but I bought some baking soda and put in our room and it helped tremendously. The bed was comfortable. Probably the best sleep I have ever gotten in a hotel. The sheets were clean and crisp. The bathroom was nice and clean. There was shampoo, conditioner and soap in the bathroom as well as a hair dryer. The phone didn't work and most of the lights didn't work. The bulbs may have been burned out. The heat/AC is central so whatever they have it set on in the office is what you get. It was hot for us in our room in March but the front desk loaned us a fan and the was perfect. It was a quiet area of town so it was safe and quiet. The Continental breakfast was toast, oatmeal, cereal and muffins. So if you are diabetic plan on eating somewhere else. The Pancake House next door is delicious but our bill was $50 for two adults. That tends to be the norm in the Williamsburg area. Overall it wasn't bad, but I didn't book the room to hang out in the room It was a safe and comfortable place to sleep. I definitely got what I paid for.
